MIDDLETOWN >> The Lake County Economic Development Corporation in cooperation with the Lake County Chamber of Commerce present as series for free business workshops in the month of October.
“Business Basics” is a learning and networking series for those looking to start or grow a traditional small business or to learn more about home-based business and self employment.
The first — Customer Service Counts — takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Middletown Library. The workshop will discuss the value of positive customer experiences on business, as well as the effects of negative experiences on a business and the county’s image.
Other courses later in the month will cover business on the internet, accessing capital and business opportunities.
