Clearlake >> Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College will host a District 1 Board of Supervisor candidates forum on Thursday starting at 6 p.m.
The campus is located at 15880 Dam Road Extension in Clearlake and the event itself will be located in the 200 building across from the admissions office. The public is invited to attend in order to be better informed on their District 1 supervisorial race in this upcoming general election.
The forum is being organized by the Associated Students of Lake County Campus (ASLCC).
The candidates, Monica Rosenthal and Jose “Moke” Simon III, will introduce themselves and describe why they are running for the supervisorial position. Then the ASLCC will ask them questions concerning District 1 and the issues of Lake County. The event is expected to last no longer than one hour.
