Clearlake >> The city of Clearlake will once again host its trick-or-treat party on Oct. 31 from 2 to 5 p.m. at City Hall.

“Since this event has not happened for the last several years, I am thrilled that the City will once again provide this fun and safe event for the community,” city manager Greg Folsom said in a press release issued by the city.

This event is 100 percent funded by donations from city/police department staff and the community.

According to Clearlake City Clerk Melissa Swanson, “City staff and police officers will be handing out goodies and reflective treat bags to community children as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating in unknown neighborhoods. Refreshments will also be available for children and parents to enjoy.”

To donate unopened bags of candy, stop by Clearlake City Hall or contact Swanson at 994-8201 extension 106 or mswanson@clearlake.ca.us.

City hall is loacted at 14050 Olympic Drive in Clearlake.
