LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Chamber of Commerce nominations for directors opened officially at the September 27th Board Meeting.

Nomination Committee Chair Lance Butcher reported the following Lake County Chamber members have indicated their willingness to serve on the Board of Directors if elected: incumbents Gary Riesen, Owner, G&G Printing, Lakeport; Lance Butcher, Partner, Lakeport Disposal, Lakeport. In addition, on the ballot are members at large: Yvette Sloan, Realtor — NextHome, Middletown; Corrigan Gommenginger, Executive Director, Hospice Services of Lake County; Diane Plante, CPA, John Tomkins Tax Consultants, Lucerne; Mike Conser, Owner, Conser Land Surveying and Mendo-Lake SUP, Lakeport; Jeff Cramer, Owner, Main Street Bicycles, Lakeport.

Any Lake County Chamber member who wishes to put their name on the 2017 ballot may do so utilizing a process known as Nomination By Petition as called out in the Chamber By-Laws. Members may submit a Petition to place their name on the ballot; said petition must be signed by 5 members in good standing to be valid and be submitted within 10 days of this notice dated Oct. 5, 2016, to the Chamber office at 875 Lakeport Blvd. in Lakeport.

Final nominations for the ballot will be taken at the regular monthly meeting for the Chamber on Wednesday, Oct. 19 which will be at Running Creek Casino. This dinner meeting is open to all Chamber members and prospective members with social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 6:15pm, RSVP @ (707) 263-5092. Nominations for the 2017 ballot will be closed on October 19th.
