Lakeport >> Cecilia Aguiar-Curry will be a guest speaker at the next meeting of the Lake County Democratic Club on Tuesday. Aguiar-Curry will speak about her candidacy for 4th District State Assembly.
Also, Mitch Markowitz will introduce his guest, Tom Hoskins, director of human resources and Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for Konocti Unified School District. Hoskins will address the club on the LCAP. Time will be allowed for Q&A for both speakers.
There will be a short business meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the speakers at 7 p.m.
Democratic club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. This upcoming meeting will be held in the United Democratic Campaign Headquarters, 390 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
All meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats.
