Lake County >> Since last year’s Valley Fire, monthly community socials presented by Lake Family Resource Center have continued with the aim of providing a respite during this long-term recovery period.
A free meal plus activities for children and adults will be offered from 5-7 p.m. on three different Mondays in October.
The first social will be in Lower Lake, which has been devastated by the Clayton Fire. It will take place on Monday at The Hub, located at 9430 Lake St.
The second community social will be on Oct. 17 at the Middletown Methodist Church, located at 15833 Armstrong St. in Middletown.
The third social will be at Cobb Elementary School on Oct. 24. The school is located at 15895 Highway 175 in Cobb.
