At the Heroes of Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, Flotilla 88 of Lake County will provide children up to 12 years old free life jackets. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will be weighed and properly fitted by members of the flotilla. The parent and child will be instructed on how to wear the life jacket properly. At the booth, there will be information on water safety, safe boating practice and other useful information to help keep everyone safe on the water.
