As clouds began to roll in Wednesday afternoon, Bruce Alden took time to cover his roof with a tarp. Alden, of Santa Rosa, is restoring a 1930s bungalow in Lakeport with hopes of moving in soon. But with shingles off and wet weather in the offing, he decided to protect his investment. Accuweather forecasts a total of 2.6 inches of rain in some parts of the county between today and Sunday — well above the 1.48 average for the entire month.
