KELSEYVILLE >> Just another three-set sweep for the Kelseyville High School varsity volleyball team as it continues its undefeated march through the North Central League I standings.
The Knights made quick work of the Cloverdale Eagles, 25-7, 25-15, 25-15, on Tuesday evening in Kelseyville, improving to 11-0 in league play in the process.
“They played well and that gave Riley a chance to distribute the ball to a lot of hitters,” Kelseyville coach Donelle McCallister said of her senior setter, Riley Goff, who had 21 assists in the quick match.
Freshman Allison Bryant led the Knights up front with nine kills and two blocks, Lauren Rudnick had a team-best 12 digs, and Shalyn Keithly served up four aces.
The Knights can guarantee themselves some share of a second straight league title and a third in four years by winning at least two of their final three matches.
Kelseyville won the junior varsity match 25-18, 25-23 to also improve to 11-0 in league play.
