Clouds began to thin out Tuesday morning following a weekend of intermittent, though sometimes heavy, rainfall. According to Accuweather, Lakeport received 1.83 inches of rain between Friday and Monday, bringing the monthly total to 2.05 — well ahead of the 1.48 ‘normal’ mark. Other parts of the county received more or less precipitation. Accuweather recorded 4 inches of rain falling on Clearlake over the same span. The lake rose from 1.29 to 1.37 on the Rumsey Gauge.
