Lakeport >> The Lake County Registrar of Voters office will begin processing vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 8 consolidated general election on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Processing will continue through Election Day as well as during the official canvass.
The counting of the official ballots starts Nov. 8 in the registrar of voters office, Room 209 of the Lake County Courthouse; however, results will not be announced until after the close of the polls at 8 p.m.
The official canvass will begin on Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. and will continue daily (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded) until completed.
Observers are invited to view the processing and counting of the ballots, but shall not interfere with the election process.
The Lake County Registrar of Voters office is on the second floor, Room 209, of the Lake County Courthouse located at 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.
