Ukiah >> Branches 133 and 168 of the Lake County Sons In Retirement (SIR) held the Robert Lettus Memorial Bowling Tournament on Sept. 17 with dozens of participants attending.
“We wish to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of our sponsors,” said William Magoolaghan, of SIR, in a press release.
This was an open handicapped competition. The first-place winner was Chris Grant, of Ukiah; second-place winner was Todd Harpe, of Ukiah; and third-place winner was Richard Ward, of Lake County.
There were 27 participants in all. Eighteen sponsors donated raffle prizes and certificates backing and supporting this event.
“More importantly a good time was had by all and are asking when the next tournament will be held,” Magoolaghan said.
The next tournament will be held sometime in January.
