You don’t have to be a computer whiz to put Google and Yelp to work for you and your business. The Lake County Chamber of Commerce offers a free class available to members and non-members on Thursday, Oct. 27 at in Clearlake and Lakeport.
The Clearlake course takes place in the Clearlake City Council Chambers from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The afternoon course in Lakeport takes place in Lakeport City Council Chambers from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The instruction does not take that long but organizers are allowing extra time for questions and one-on-one instruction if needed. It is recommended that you bring your laptop/computer or smart phone, but these are not absolutely necessary.
Today’s equivalent of the phone book are listings on Yelp and Google.
