LAKEPORT >> The Clear Lake Cardinals scored three goals against the Kelseyville Knights on Thursday afternoon in Lakeport. For the record, that’s two fewer than Victor Cacho scored for the three-time defending North Central League I champions in their 8-3 victory.
Kelseyville (11-0-3) completed an undefeated league campaign in the process and can now look ahead to the North Coast Section boys soccer playoffs next week. Head coach Eduardo Ledesma is hoping his team can advance past the first round this year, something the Knights didn’t do after winning league in 2014 and 2015.
Sergio Arias scored twice for Kelseyville.
Clear Lake (0-12-2) received goals from Ulices Valencia, Kevin Chavez and Luis Julian Martinez.
