Lakeport >> The Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club (CLT&TGC) will host its Annual Chrysanthemum Show on Nov. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Lakeport Yacht Club.
“This is a free event and is one of our club’s gifts to our Community,” member Kathleen Steinberg said in a press release announcing the show. The theme for this year is “Flower Friends with Mums.”
There will be cider and cookies for guest to enjoy while viewing a variety of mums that have been grown in Lake County. Arrangements will be presented for using creative flower designs.
“Come with a camera or questions about gardening,” Steinberg. Expert gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
The public is also invited to attend regular CLT&TGC meetings held at the Scott’s Valley Club House on most third Tuesdays of the month.
