LAKEPORT >> Nine Green failed to appear in court for a Motion Hearing on multiple charges, causing the court to issue a bench warrant. Bail was set at $50,000.

Green is charged with two counts of Threats To Commit Crime which will Result in Death or Great Bodily Injury, Threats to any Elected Public Official, Willful and Malicious Harassment to Another Person and 34 counts of Violation of Protective Order. The charges stem from a number of incidents, including Green allegedly spreading manure on the District Attorney’s office.

Defense Attorney Robert Spangler was present in court, stating in court he did send notice of this hearing to Green. The motion hearing was in regards to the Spangler’s possible withdrawal from the case.

Judge Arnold Rosenfield presides over this matter with Deputy Attorney General Geoffrey Lauter present by phone.

The Court ordered bail set in the amount of $50,000.

The warrant will be held until Nov. 2, at 10:30 a.m. The warrant will be released for service at that time if the defendant fails to appear.
