LAKEPORT >> Hospice Services of Lake County invites community members to participate in Light up a Life, a candlelight ceremony of remembrance honoring the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed. Light up a Life will be held this evening, Nov. 2, starting at 6:30 p.m. Ceremonies also will be held at the Highlands Senior Center in Clearlake on Nov. 12 and the Middletown Art Center on Nov. 17.
Light up a Life is a candle lighting ceremony that celebrates the memories of family, friends and loved ones who have gone before us. The celebration will take place at the Hospice administrative offices, 1862 Parallel Drive. The brief ceremony held indoors this year will include music, poetry and music performed by local artists accompanied by the lighting of candles.
Keepsake candles will be available at the event and there is no charge to participate. Donations for candles will be accepted. For more information call 263-6222.
