The Middletown Senior Center is in need of volunteer drivers for its Meals on Wheels program.
Two of the daily routes have open days. The Hidden Valley Lake route takes approximately two hours a day, and the Middletown route takes approximately one hour a day. Volunteers normally sign up for one day each week, or can sign up to fill in for drivers on vacation. Meals are delivered Mondays through Fridays during lunch time.
Meals on Wheels are available to all seniors with a medical condition which impairs their ability to shop for themselves and to prepare meals on their own. The Meals on Wheels program has made it possible for seniors to remain in their homes for longer periods of time. For information, call Lori at 987-3113.
