The Lake County Winegrape Commission recently celebrated 25 years with a gathering at Boatique Winery in Kelseyville. The commission now represents over 180 winegrape growers in the county. In 2015 these men and women harvested 38,786 tons of grapes worth over $63 million. The average of $1,589 per ton paid for Lake County grapes is now the third highest in the state.
