Just after Thanksgiving — Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 — Sons in Retirement will sponsor a trip to Reno to see the ever popular “Miracle on 34th Street.” Their package on this trip includes bus, two nights at the Eldorado, two buffet breakfasts, a “yuletide” cocktail party, a Christmas shopping trek, and the dinner show. They will also stop at their favorite Bavarian Bakery for pastries to take home.

Sons In Retirement is a social organization for men of retirement age who are pursuing the goal of enjoying their later years. Senior Center also traveling to Reno
Lakeport Senior Activity Center and El Dorado is also sponsoring a trip to see the show, again on Nov. 29 through Dec. 1. The bus trip includes three days and two nights at the El Dorado, with two buffet breakfasts, pre-show cocktail parties and buffet dinners, along with an optional shopping trip.
The cost for the package is $176, double occupancy. A single occupancy room runs $224.
