LAKEPORT >> Police are looking for three women who reportedly stabbed a Lakeport man Monday night.
The victim, a 52 year-old male, suffered a wound to the right side of his lower back. He informed offices that as he walked past three young women, one turned and attacked him from behind.
The incident took place near Library Park on Third Street shortly after 9 p.m., although Lakeport Police did not receive a call until 9:30.

Police were informed that the three then continued on their way, walking north on Main St.
With no other known witnesses in the area, authorities are working with limited information on the suspects. All three are described as being white females approximately 18 years of age, according to Ferguson. The attacker reportedly has black hair. Another of the trio carried a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.
“No further descriptions or details were provided,” Ferguson noted.
The victim is in stable condition. He was airlifted to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
