LAKE COUNTY >> Riley Goff exits her high school volleyball career as a two-time winner of the most valuable player award on the annual All-Lake County volleyball team as selected by the Lake County Record-Bee.

The Kelseyville High School senior, who is headed to Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park to continue her academic and athletic pursuits, is also the two-time MVP on the All-North Central League I team. In 2016 she led the Knights to a second straight undefeated league championship, a berth in the North Coast Section Division IV playoffs, a trip to the NorCal Division IV playoffs, and a 25-7 overall record.

Goff, a standout setter, was one of two four-year veterans for the Knights this season – Lauren Rudnick being the other. They helped lead Kelseyville to league championships in 2013, ‘15 and ‘16. During Goff’s and Rudnick’s four years at the school, Kelseyville went 53-3 in league play, all three of the losses coming to St. Helena, the 2014 league champion.

Joining Goff on the All-League first team are two of her teammates, senior Carli Mendonca and sophomore Payton Conrad, Clear Lake juniors Kiana Richardson and Camille Donald, and Upper Lake senior Natalie Karlsson.

Second-team All-County players are Kelseyville’s Rudnick and freshman Allison Bryant, Clear Lake junior Valerie Hutton, Upper Lake junior Christina Wilson, Lower Lake senior Bailey DeLong, and Middletown senior Brittney Holt.

All 12 All-County team members participated in a photo shoot Sunday at the Lake County Museum (the complete photo album in on the Record-Bee’s Facebook page).
