KELSEYVILLE >> SPCA of Lake County will be holding its monthly low-cost vaccination on Sunday Jan. 15 from 9-11 a.m. at the property next to their main building on 8025 Hwy 29. There will be volunteers directing traffic to assist clients.
SPCA of Lake County suffered a water pipe burst in the surgery suite of the main building. The water extended throughout the building and damaged much of the flooring as well as the ceiling panels due to water accumulation and condensation.
The SPCA Board of Directors are working diligently with the insurance company and contractors to bring the SPCA’s main building to its original condition.
“Nothing is going to stop us,” said Wanda Roe, member of the SPCA Board of Directors and program manager for the vaccination clinic, “ We’ve been through much worse.”
The organization will continue with its monthly low-cost vaccination as planned. Spay/Neuter services will resume when surgery rooms are operational and all equipment are inspected and certified.
SPCA’s board is asking for financial assistance as well as for volunteers to help restore the main building. Checks can be mailed to SPCA of Lake County, P.O. Box 784, Clearlake, CA 95452. Donations can also be made though their website, spcaoflakecounty.com or through Go Fund Me option https://www.gofundme.com/spca-of-lake-county-flood-damage.
