LIVERMORE >> CORE Wrestling of Lower Lake took part in The Snake Pit tournament on Sunday in Livermore, the youth club’s first competition of 2017.
Eight CORE wrestlers made the trip and four came away with medals.
Returning CORE wrestler Dylan Neuharth went 2-2 on the day to claim a third-place medal in the 56-pound intermediate division.
New team members Jesse Saldana-Rivera (bantam division), Trey Thurman (bantam division) and Mason Fuchs (rookie division) also came with third-place medals.
CORE Wrestling’s next action is this Sunday at the Oakdale Tournament.
