Shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday Clear Lake reached its historic full mark on the Rumsey Gauge — 7.56 feet. By 5:15 p.m. the level had risen to 7.60. On Friday afternoon the Lake County Sheriff’s Office urged residents along the shoreline and in areas prone to flooding to prepare, noting that with another inch or more of rain expected today, the lake will likely reach flood warning stage.
