LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport Lions for the 50th annual Lions Crab feed on March 4 at the Lakeport Senior Activity Center. No Host cocktails provided by the Lakeport Elks Lodge #2704.
Boy Scout Troop No. 42, will serve the all-you-can eat crab, salad, pasta and garlic bread dinner. No sauce, butter or seasonings are added to the cracked crab. If diners have a special accompaniment they prefer with their crab, they are asked to bring it with them. Melted butter and Nancy’s special sauce will be available.
The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. with a no-host bar, provided by the Lakeport Elks Lodge 2704, with food service beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event includes a raffle that offers a variety of items donated by Lake County businesses, Lakeport Lions, Lakeport Elks and Boy Scout Troop No. 42. The event also features a Silent Auction of homemade desserts.
Money raised from ticket sales, raffle and silent action are used in the community, according to Debbe Blake, with the majority of local support going to the Lakeport Senior Activity Center, Lakeport school programs, scholarships, Boy Scouts, and Upper Lake Lights of Love campaign.
Tickets are $50 per person. Purchase 8 or more tickets at one time tickets are $45 per person with a reserved table. No take out or ticket sold at door. There are a limited number of tickets available.
