What appears to be an overturned boat is stuck among branches and other debris on a bank of Cache Creek along New Long Valley Road in Spring Valley Thursday afternoon. The creek continues to overrun its banks in some locations in Spring Valley although no houses are threatened. As rain resumed on Thursday, Clear Lake began to climb again on the Rumsey Gauge. The lake level had fallen from 8.6 to 8.1 Rumsey. Accuweather’s forecast indicate that showers are possible through Tuesday. – Ken R. Wells — Lake County Publishing
