SACRAMENTO >> Members of the CORE Wrestling Youth Club of Lower Lake came away with four second-place finishes and a third at the Jan. 29 SAWA Championships in Sacramento.
Bringing home medals were Mason Fuchs, second in the 34-pound pee wee division; Jesse Saldana-Rivera, second in the 43-pound bantam division; Skylar Day, second in the 109-pound novice division; Pedro Garrido, second in the 117-pound schoolboy division; and Aidan Foster, third in the 104-pound novice division.
CORE wrestlers return to action on Sunday at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in Vacaville.
