KELSEYVILLE >> Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies took on an unusual case yesterday concerning a reportedly pregnant woman who exited a moving vehicle.
Two deputies reported to the scene located on Highway 281 by the Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum, to conduct an informational report. As of now, the LCSO does not consider the event a criminal case.
LCSO Chief Information Officer Lt. Steve Brooks said the initial call for Emergency Medical Services also initiated a call for a helicopter ambulance, but due to bad weather, they could not be dispatched to the location.
Brooks said there exists no official evidence regarding the woman’s pregnancy, and no further information is currently available.
