LAKEPORT >> Join the Lakeport Lions for their 50th annual crab feed fundraiser on March 4 at the Lakeport Senior Activity Center.
Boy Scout Troop No. 42, will serve the all-you-can eat crab, salad, pasta and garlic bread dinner. No sauce, butter or seasonings are added to the cracked crab. If diners have a special accompaniment they prefer with their crab, they are asked to bring it with them.
Melted butter and Nancy’s special sauce will be available.
The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. with a no-host bar, provided by the Lakeport Elks Lodge 2704, with food service beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Some great raffle prizes include McCarty Belgian Horse carriage ride (value $400), Lakeview Market and Riviera Foods each a $50 gift certificate. Buckingham Country Club golf, Judy’s Junction, Liv Fashion Boutiques (value $250), Finch Gardens 2 night midweek stay (value $250+). Many more raffle prizes donated by many Lake County businesses, Lakeport Lions, Lakeport Elks and Boy Scout Troop No. 42. The event also features a Silent Auction of homemade desserts.
Money from ticket sales, raffle and silent action are used in the community, according to President Debbe Blake. Supporting local organizations like the Lakeport Senior Activity Center, Meals on Wheels program, Lakeport school programs, Boy Scout Troop 42, Northlake Adult Day Center and the Polar Plunge.
Tickets are $50 per person. Purchase 8 or more tickets at one time tickets are $45 per person with a reserved table. No take out or tickets sold at door.
