LOWER LAKE >> Tyler Linnell pitched four innings for the victory and had a big two-run double as the Kelseyville High School junior varsity baseball team rallied from a 5-3 deficit to beat the Lower Lake Trojans 8-5 in non-league action on Friday afternoon in Lower Lake.
Kelseyville (1-2) trailed 5-3 after three innings but scored five times in the top of the fourth, the final two runs scoring on Linnell’s double, to push in front to stay.
Linnell struck out seven in posting his first victory of the season. Steven Sprague pitched the final two innings to record the save. He struck out two. Sprague also led the Knights at the plate, going 3-for-4.
Kelseyville returns to action under the lights Wednesday night in Healdsburg. First pitch is 6:30 p.m.
