MIDDLETOWN >> Sophomore shortstop Drake Harbison went 4-for-4 with a double and a RBI to propel the Middletown High School junior varsity baseball team to a 14-4 victory over visiting St. Vincent on Wednesday afternoon.

The game was stopped after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Harbison also scored four times as Middletown improved to 3-0 on the season. Isaac Perez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Cameron Luis went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Jayden Trueblood and Noah Brown added doubles.

Winning pitcher Wes Wagner worked 3 2/3 innings and allowed two runs on two hits. He struck out one.

Middletown took command of the game with a five-run bottom of the first.

The Mustangs are off until March 18 when they play a doublehealder against El Molino in Forestville.
