CLEARLAKE >> The annual dinner, dance and wine reception, hosted by the Park Study Club, will be held on Saturday March. 18 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Highlands Senior Center, 3426 Bowers Ave. Advanced ticket sales are $35 and at the door $40. Advanced tickets can be obtained by calling Virginia 994-7335.
Music once again, will be provided by the Lake County Diamonds for listening enjoyment and dancing. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with wine tasting and entertainment by Lower Lake High School students. Dinner will be served around 6:30 p.m. There will be raffle baskets, live auctions, one being a homemade dessert auction (goodies baked by high school students).
One of the many raffle items is a Heron wood carving which was carved by Mark Colp, a local crafts-man. Heron tickets will be available for sale at the event and the winner will be drawn during the event.
Proceeds benefit the Park Study Club scholarship and youth leadership funds for local high school seniors, as well as many other community endeavors.
