Although Esplanade St. in Lakeport remains flooded, some stretches are now becoming shallow enough that residents enter the area. As of Friday at 2:15 p.m., Clear Lake had retreated to 8.86 on the Rumsey Gauge — below flood stage, though still well above the historic full mark of 7.56.
