Put a stop to it
Has anyone tried to cross over Main St. in Lakeport around noon to 1 p.m. lately? There seems to be an exceptional amount of continuous traffic that cuts you no slack during that time of day. Pedestrians seem to not get cut any slack either.
Maybe its time for some additional stop signs.

You have to shake your head
Prior to the election I tried as a proud Democrat to communicate with Trump supporters continually. I always went away with the feeling that because of their holier-than-thou rants these folks were infected with a kind of moral bankruptcy fueled by a boyish clown who was clearly in the grip of two identifiable psychiatric conditions: megalomania and paranoia. Trying to talk with them was like trying to reason with a monkey or shame a rattlesnake.
It became apparent that a Trump-infused fascist virus by someone who lies like he breathes had poisoned their hearts, minds and souls and left them righteously fomented. As a result today there is little if any shades of grey between Republicans and Democrats. Every Trumpie I have tried to find common ground with keeps on spouting the same immoral concepts of greed, avarice, self-absorption, intolerance, hate, profit-over-people and luxury for a tiny minority mouthing over and over again the very word of Trump- accepting his continual lying and xenophobia with a doglike devotion.
I shake my head and pray for the welfare of our great country which as an ex-Navy officer(with a top secret clearance for cryptography) I know is well protected now despite the despotic, psychotic, heart-full-of-hate orange joker’s nonsense.
