REDWOOD VALLEY >> Nine Terrace Vikings attended the Eagle Peak Invitational Middle School Wrestling Tournament on Saturday in Redwood Valley and all nine brought home medals.

Terrace’s team of seven boys and two girls combined to win five first-place medals, three seconds and a third.

First-place medals among the boys went to Nathan Pyorre in the 74-pound division, Liam Davis in the 110-pound division, Liam Wayment in the 176-pound division and Blake Moak in the heavyweight division. Pyorre won in overtime in his championship match. Davis and Moak each went 2-0 with one pin while Wayment went 2-0 with two pins.

Terrace’s other first-place medal went to Ashley Pyorre in the girls 92-pound division with a 2-0 record that featured one pin and a major decision.

Second-place medals went to Samuel Vanoven (102 pounds), Axel Alvarez (134 pounds) and Jonathan Werner (180 pounds), all with 1-1 records and one pin apiece.

Kiley Bartell finished third in the 140-pound girls division.
