BOONVILLE >> Clear Lake swept Anderson Valley in doubles, including a three-set victory in first doubles, while posting a 3-2 non-conference tennis win over the Panthers on Wednesday afternoon in Boonville.

The Cardinals are 3-0 overall, including 2-0 in Coastal Mountain Conference play, under first-year head coach Shannon Aloia.

Clear Lake’s doubles sweep featured a 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 victory by Sereno Dominguez and Bobby Lasher over Angus Fraser and Alexis Madrigal in first doubles, and a 6-2, 6-3 win by Lexi Burke and Stacy Partridge over Victor Martinez and Ramon Alvarez in second doubles.

The Cardinals also picked up a win in third singles where Simone Celle won by forfeit.

Anderson Valley prevailed in both first and second singles. In first singles, Mathis Weyrich beat Scotty Mather 6-1, 6-1. In second singles, Cozette Ellis defeated Subhagya Joshi 6-2, 6-3.

Clear Lake resumes conference play Friday in Cloverdale at 4 p.m.
