HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE >> Savannah Molloy outlasted Ali Diaz 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in third singles to give the Kelseyville Knights a 3-2 Coastal Mountain Conference victory over the Middletown Mustangs on Thursday afternoon at the Hidden Valley Lake tennis courts.
The teams were tied 2-2 as Molloy and Diaz squared off in the final match of the day.
Kelseyville also picked up wins in first and second doubles. In first doubles, Garrett Grossner and Anthony Vesely beat Middletown’s Rylynn Wright and Ashley Slavens 6-2, 7-5. In second doubles, Kelseyville’s Laurel Weller and Diamond Maglietta beat the same Middletown Wright-Slavens team 6-0, 6-2.
In other singles action, Middletown’s Solomon Malicay defeated Josh Bridges 6-0, 6-3 in first singles, and Middletown’s Daniel Jones beat Bodhi Baird 6-3, 7-5 in second singles.
Kelseyville returns to action Tuesday at home against Cloverdale.
