Just as Major Leauge Baseball is shifting from the spring exhibition season to the regular season come Sunday, the majority of Lake County’s high school baseball and softball teams open their league schedules today (Friday). Izzac Carver (above) and the Lower Lake Trojans are home to take on the Kelseyville Knights, the Clear Lake Cardinals hit the road to play Willits, and the Middletown Mustangs travel to Cloverdale. Baseball and softball starting times are 4 p.m. at all of the venues hosting games Friday.
