Our calendar at Galilee is filling up as we approach Easter week.
This Sunday, April 2, at 10 a.m., Craig Waters leads us as we read about the raising of Lazarus by Jesus.
April 9
Palm Sunday service at 10 a.m.
April 13
Maundy Thursday “Service of Shadows” at 7 p.m. with Holy Communion and Scripture readings.
April 14
Good Friday service at 7 p.m. with the “Last 7 Words of Christ” as presented by seven Galilee members.
April 16
Easter Sunrise service at Buckingham Clubhouse at 6 a.m. Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt at Galilee Community Center 7:30-9:30 a.m., followed by our Easter Festival Service in the sanctuary at 10 a.m., led by Doug Andre, with a variety of music.
On April 18 Tuesday night Bible Study recommences at 7 p.m. in the church conference room. On April 23, “Bright Sunday,” including a Memorial Remembrance for the Rev. Lynn Freele, Galilee’s pastor from 1989-2009, followed by a potluck and movie in the Community Center. On April 30 Galilee welcomes guest minister Rev. Galen Gallimore from Ukiah, as he leads us in worship this day.
Then we can all relax!
