A Lasagna/Spaghetti fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 8, at the Bachelor Valley Grange in Upper Lake from 5 to 8 p.m. Cost of the
complete meal will be $10; there will also be bakery items and a raffle.
The Avenue of Flags Association is entrusted with the care of 1,800 Funeral Flags from American Veterans which are flown at most Lake County cemeteries on Veterans Day and Memorial Day each year.
All monies raised are used to cover insurance costs for the flags, the storage building, and the many volunteers who raise and take down the flags.
