LAKEPORT >> Kelseyville native Iris Kuzu has joined the sales team of Country Air Properties, according to Country Air broker Phil Smoley.
Kuzu graduated from Kelseyville High in 2004, attending college at Santa Rosa JC prior to graduating from UC Davis in 2010 with a BA in Psychology and a Communication minor.
In 2012, she and her fiance began to invest in real estate, buying fixer uppers to rehab. “This process started my passion for real estate as I became familiar with the building process, land development, and investment properties,” Kuzu stated. “I grew up in Lake County, my family is here, I know it well, and it is my home. I think to be a good sales person, you have to love the product you sell, and I love Lake County.”
Kuzu is also a big believer in giving back to the community. In high school and college she developed a passion for tennis that still drives her. Her involvement with tennis teams gave her the experience needed to teach and coach, and currently is an assistant coach with the Kelseyville High tennis team. “It’s a great feeling to teach a kid some basic techniques, and help them develop into a player who can compete successfully at a higher level. They learn fast and it gives me a sense of pride to watch them in a match.”
Kuzu will be working along some of the best real estate sales people in the county. Country Air Properties boasts of being Lake County’s all time top selling brokerage and holder of most major real estate records in terms of amount sold, properties listed, and all time top selling agents. “Iris will have plenty of support behind her.
