- The annual Cobb Community Easter egg hunt took place Saturday at the Black Rock Gold Course in Cobb. The event was put on by the Mountain Lions and Leos Club, who filled and scattered roughly 2,000 plastic eggs, 32 of which had a slip inside that granted the finder a special prize. The Leos Club is the youth auxiliary of the Lions Club, and it teaches kids how to live a community service based life, in the hope that one day they will become Lions themselves. This was the first year that the Mountain Leos Club helped out with the egg hunt. - Noah Dailey, age 7, got into the Easter spirit with his rabbit ears.
- Mariah Pearl, 16 months old, enjoys the blooming flowers as much as the candy-filled eggs.
- Mikey Mullin, age 4, scours the golf course for eggs.
- 8-year-old Emma Smith sprints across the lawn in search of more eggs.
- 5-year-old Aria Dea Moon Becker scans the grass for remaining eggs.
