Galilee Lutheran Church
This Sunday, we are blessed to have a special guest, the Rev. Galen Gallimore of Ukiah, lead our service and bring us the message. After the service, we are having a potluck lunch and showing the hour-long film, “Jan Hus.” Hus was one of the early reformationists, a hundred years before Martin Luther, and his story is a good illustration of what happens when you protest without the benefit of social media.
The Gospel lesson this week is the story of the “Road to Emmaus,” where two men encounter Jesus after the Resurrection, while leaving Jerusalem to go trudging home. Where do WE encounter Jesus in our daily walk? At home? At work? On the road? And do we recognize him when we see him?
Galilee Lutheran is located at 8860 Soda Bay Road in the Kelseyville Rivieras. We invite all who hear a spiritual call to join us at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning. We have coffee! And this Sunday, lunch, too! See you here!
