CLEARLAKE >> Highlands Senior Service Center will be hosting the Lakeshore Fire Department as they present an Emergency Preparedness for Seniors class on Wednesday, May 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The presentation is free, and there is no need to preregister. All seniors, caretakers, family members and other interested parties should plan on attending to learn valuable techniques to survive an emergency.
The Center and Fire Department both urge the community to gather information and set up an emergency plan to be prepared for the next emergency. Highlands Senior Service Center is located at 3245 Bowers Avenue in Clearlake.
