Ron Raetz, one of the driving forces behind Upper Lake High School’s decade-long pursuit of lights for its football/soccer field, stands next to a bank of the High Intensity Discharge lights that will illumniate the Cougars’ night games beginning with the fall sports season. These particular lights were lifted into place minutes later on Monday afternoon. All four light standards at the field are in place and ready to go.
