Veterans, current officers, their families, and other members of the community were welcomed by Chaplain Terry Cara. He said, ‘Thinking about all the service they gave to take care of us is important. They deserve to be remembered always.’
Taps, prayers, and lit candles all adorned the Lake County Safety Officer Memorial Service Friday evening at the Lake County Memorial Park. The ceremony honored the County’s fallen safety officers.
