The show airs every other Friday and regularly features three Lake County Veterans including Saul Sanabria, County Veterans Services Officer; Dean Gotham, Northern District Director, Ca. State Council, Viet Nam Veterans of America; and Chris Taliaferro, EDD, Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist.
KPFZ radio programmer Olga Martin Steele hosts the show. Veterans from various walks of life and service providers are often invited as special guests. Listeners are encouraged to call 707-263-3435 with questions or to join in on the conversation of the day.
Believed to be the only non-commercial community radio program of its kind in California, the show is dedicated to keeping veterans, their families and friends posted on current benefits, changes to benefits, legislation affecting veterans, employment and training opportunities and other issues important to the veteran community.
