Madison Banuelos, 7, and Izeah Ely, 8, of Lake County Martial Arts in Lakeport brought home trophies from Scott Halsey’s Karate Championships last weekend in Redding. Banuelos, an orange belt, finished second while Ely, a green belt, won trophies for first and third in the various disciplines.
