Lake County Archaeologists John and Cheyanne Parker will be attending the Northern California Emmy Award Presentation in San Francisco as the Film about Anderson Marsh, ‘A Walk Through Time,’ has been nominated for an Emmy. As Co-Producer of the film, John Parker worked with Producers Dino, Drake, and Darin Beltran (of the Koi Nation), Greg White, and Director Dan Bruns of the Advanced Laboratory for Visual Anthropology (CSU-Chico). Funding for the production was provided by the California Department of Parks and Recreation under the direction of Archaeologist Leslie Steidl. The film is available to all public schools in Lake County with accompanying lesson plans developed by Middletown Educator Kathy Scavone. - Contributed photo
